"I know a lot of people who struggle with mental health so it’s something that is near and dear to my heart. I did a fundraiser and chose to shave my head. People from all over donated and we raised just over $3000."
Madi S, Fundraiser
Somewhere in Australia, there is a new call to Lifeline every 30 seconds.
Last year we received over 1 million calls to our Crisis Line.
1 in 5 calls went unanswered.
Every contact can offer hope and it is devastating that we don’t have the resources to answer every call immediately. We rely on our donors and partners to keep the lines running.

Leave a gift in your Will
When you choose to leave a gift to Lifeline Adelaide in your Will, your generous legacy will make a difference to the community for many years to come. After you have taken care of your family members, friends and loved ones, we can support your wish to make a lasting impact for those in crisis into the future.

Should you choose to include Lifeline Adelaide in your Will, the following wording can be used to specify your wishes:
I give and bequeath [a specific amount of my estate] OR [a percentage of my estate] OR [the rest and residue of my estate] OR [a percentage of the residue of my estate] to Lifeline Adelaide (a service of Uniting Communities Inc trading as Uniting Communities [ABN 33 174 490 373]) at 43 Franklin Street, Adelaide for its general purposes, and declare that the receipt of an executive officer at the time shall be sufficient discharge of my executor’s duty.
We would advise you to consult your Solicitor or Trustee Company to ensure that your wishes are clearly and legally stated.

Our vision is an Australia free of suicide, but at the moment eight Australians take their own lives every day. Connection is fundamental to all we do at Lifeline Adelaide; we're here to make a connection with any person in distress whenever they need us.
Lifeline volunteers are currently answering a call every 30 seconds. We know that through connecting with each person who calls, we can offer hope to continue.
Your gift to Lifeline Adelaide will ensure that no-one in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.
